2021 Covid-19 gölgesi altında düzenlenecek olan Oscar Ödül Töreni, 26 Nisan Pazartesi geceyarısı, yani bu gece, Amerikan Sinema Sanatları ve Bilimleri Akademisi tarafından 93. kez sahiplerine verilecek.. Los Angeles’taki Union Station ve Dolby Theatre’da eş zamanlı olarak düzenlenecek ödül töreni öncesi ‘Bu yılın Oscar’larını kimler ve hangi filmler kazanacak?’ diye düşünüp, sizlere kendi tahminlerimi sunmaya karar verdim. En azından Oscar gecesine girerken aklımızdaki soru işaretleri bir nebze olsun kalkar. Oscar Akademisi’nin açıkladığı 2021 Oscar adayı oyuncular ve filmler kimsede büyük heyecan uyandırmadı. Akademinin küresel salgından dolayı filmlerinde daha çok sanatsal ağırlıklı, psikolojik yapımlara yöneldiğini gördük. İnsan psikolojisinin derinliklerine inen filmlerin yanında tarihin, insanın, aşkın gücünü ön plana çıkaran prodüksiyonların birçok adaylık kazanmış olması film endüstrisi açısından sevindirici bir durum.
