2018 Olivier Ödülleri dün akşam Londra’da Royal Albert Hall Theatre’da muhteşem bir törenle sahiplerine verildi. Robin Johnson tarafından yönetilen Lauded Lin-Manuel Miranda’nın başrolü oynadığı müzikal Hamilton, Mastercard seremonisi ile Olivier Ödülleri 2018’e liderlik yaptı ve rekor kıran on üç adaylıktan yedi ödülü kapmayı başardı.
Catherine Tate’in ev sahipliğini yaptığı gecede, geçen yıl büyük beğeni toplayan Londra tiyatroları arasında büyük ölçüde eşit paylaşımlar yapıldı. National Theatre prodüksiyonları beş Olivier Ödülü’nü kazandı, Royal Court ise Broadway’e bağlı epik Jez Butterworth oyunu The Ferryman ile birlikte üçü tane dahil olmak üzere dört ödül birden aldı.

The lauded Lin-Manuel Miranda musical Hamilton led the way at the Olivier Awards 2018 with Mastercard ceremony, collecting seven awards from its record-breaking thirteen nominations.
Hosted by Catherine Tate, the evening saw honours largely shared evenly amongst a number of highly acclaimed London theatres of the past year. The National Theatre celebrated five Olivier Award wins across their productions, while the Royal Court enjoyed four, including three for the Broadway-bound epic Jez Butterworth play, The Ferryman.
