Art after the Digital – Ulya Soley in conversation with Mat Collishaw

The British Council is honoured to host the acclaimed British artist Mat Collishaw for a conversation with curator Ulya Soley at Loca.

How is Mat Collishaw’s work affected by the digitisation? What does VR technology offer the visitors on his virtual exhibition ‘Thresholds’? Can we talk about new curatorial methods and a change in artistic practices in relation to new technologies? What are some implications of new technologies on physical experiences? Can the digital democratise art? Ulya Soley who curated the second round of British Council’s digital gallery ‘Museum without Walls’, will discuss these questions with the artist Mat Collishaw.
